So Yao Ming is out for the season and the Houston Rockets continue the winning streak? How does that work? Lets take a closer look at the teams that they played. Oh wait! That’s right the streak of wins were against poorly performing eastern conference teams. Hmmmm. So what do you think will happen when the have to play upcoming games against the Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics? Reality of course!
I am sticking to my guns and despite the streak of “luck” that the Houston Rockets have had against lack luster east coast teams, the Houston Rockets season is over, done and yes you can stick a fork in it.
Do any of you actually think the Houston Rockets stand a chance?

The Rockets are for real. It takes determination and willpower to do what only two other teams have ever accomplished, especially in an era of such parity. Any team can beat any other team on any given night. The fact that the Rockets have won 20 in a row speaks more of a great team than of “luck.”
Houston believes, you should too.
The Lakers and the Celtics are coming to town. The West is still far and away the better conference, so Boston’s record should be no surprise. They have a great team, no doubt, but their record would not be quite so impressive if they played in the West. The Lakers game is the one I’m most interested in. It should be a war out there. I hope the Rockets win their next game so they can be shooting (with a 21 game streak under their belts) for the Lakers record when they play them. Another 12 – 13 game win streak doesn’t seem so far away.
