Jerry Stackhouse Blows Jason Kidd Trade

So earlier I talked about how Devean George’s Larry Bird clause should have been investigated a bit better and the Dallas Mavericks staff was really the one to blame. But now thanks to Jerry Stackhouse it seems the finger pointing and attention can now be taken off of Devean George.

Yesterday I was reading about the foiled unofficial trade and came across a statement from Jerry Stackhouse saying he was really only involved as part of the trade to make the numbers and after the trade New Jersey would buy him out and he could then re-sign with the Mavericks. The statement struck me as kind of odd. The kind of thing one should keep to themeselved no?

Thanks to that statement to the press Jerry Stackhouse caught the attention of the NBA and guess what? Now they are under investigation by the NBA for violating league rules for making a prearranged agreement. Loose lips sink ships is what they say… If this deal wasn’t dead before I think it is now.
