Celtics vs Pistons – Finals Preview?
Lots of buzz around the net today about the Celtics versus the Pistons tonight. Everyone and there mom’s are saying that this is the Eastern Conference Championship preview. Boston did drop the first game against the Pistons which makes me wonder if they can pull this one out.
Another thing is Detroit has been dominating the Eastern Conference for so long now that it may get a rude awakening from the newly formed Celtic Trio. I heart Celtics makes mention of Chauncy Billups over sized head which is probably true in a whole other sense for the entire team. Detroit was a great team but now has to face the facts that loosing key players like Ben Wallace is going to hurt them when they need talent the most and that my friends is in the Playoffs.
My call is the Celtics take it. They are hungry and like Miami when they acquired Shaq Boston has momentum and the talent to push them into the finals. Detroit your time for rebuilding has come. Move aside for the new Eastern Powerhouse the Boston Celtics.
